Screw Mixing Elements (SME)

SME element is a mixing element in which a number of reverse shallow reflux slots are opened on the conventional forward conveying element. Usually used together with resistance elements, the material is conveying through a shallow groove on the edge to form a return flow of melt, improving the distribution ability.
Selection principle: Usually used in the melting zone.
