Double-fighted Screw Elements

Double-fighted screw elements are most widely used in today's co-rotating twin-screw compounding extruders (except for the various kneading blocks and mixing elements, accounting for about 70% -100%). The cross section is olive-shaped. Double-fighted large-lead screw sleeve elements are commonly used in the screw feeding section and exhaust section (including "natural exhaust" and "vacuum exhaust"), and the materials are generally not full. The small lead screw element is mostly used to pressurize or space the kneading block to increase the residence time to accelerate the melting of the modified material, and maybe a more reasonable screw configuration can be arranged to obtain modified finished particles with more satisfactory physical and mechanical properties.

△ The high-speed tool steel, W6Mo5Cr4V2 (vacuum quenching);

△ The mold steel, 1.2379 or SKD11 or K110 (quenching + tempering);

△ The bimetal composite rods (inside tough, outside hard or corrosion resistant), supplied by SAAR company from German or HTM company from Swiss;

△ Other special materials such as Hastelloy, W-C, nickel-based alloy, etc.
