Adjusting Methods of Screw Clearance of Conical Twin Screw Extruder

    1. Install the front and rear supports on the barrel and put the twin screw extruder screw elements on the main frame together.


    Before shaking, the manual crank handle is supported and the barrel is moved to the direction of the distribution box. Look at whether the barrel stop and the lip of the distribution box is at the same level and preliminarily judge whether the barrel has reached the machining accuracy.


    2. Remove the spline sleeve of the distribution shaft in the extruder screw distribution box of the extruder


    Remove the spline sleeve of the distribution shaft in the screw distribution box of the extruder screw and use a knife-edge ruler to measure whether the spline of the screw handle is parallel to the spline of the distribution shaft.


    3. Put the spline of  twin screw extruder screw elements into the distribution box


    Put the spline of twin screw extruder screw elements into the distribution box, and after the spline sleeve of the distribution shaft is covered, manually rotate the motor rotation angle, remove the spline sleeve and repeat the above measurement steps until it is at the same level at any angle.


    4. Install the screw top shaft of the extruder screw into the screw


    5. Measure the total gap of the barrel extruder screw


    Measure the total gap of the barrel extruder screw: push the left and right extruder screws to the direction of the distribution box to the bottom tightly, put the dial indicator on the small end of the machine, and the probe head on any screw head and adjust the meter position to the zero position.
