High-intensity mixing element for demanding compounding applications
Maximum mixing performance
Strong shear and cutting effect
Intensive material recombination
Suitable for difficult dispersion systems
ZME mixing screw elements are designed from a single-flight reverse conveying element with a small pitch, onto which forward-oriented teeth are introduced along the flight geometry.
This structural modification combines the reverse conveying base with forward cutting features, enabling repeated material deformation, cutting and recombination as the melt passes through the element. As a result, both dispersive and distributive mixing are achieved.
Among all mixing elements, ZME delivers the highest mixing intensity and energy input.
Provides both dispersive and distributive mixing.
Breaks agglomerates effectively.
Suitable for difficult-to-process materials.
Enhances material homogenization.
Shear + geometric disruption = maximum mixing efficiency
