Manufactured via machining processes, this spline geometry offers a balance between manufacturability and mechanical performance, making it suitable for medium torque extrusion systems.
However, due to non-optimized tooth geometry, load distribution along the spline flank is not uniform, which limits fatigue performance under high cyclic loading conditions.
