Tooth-based flow splitting and recombination for advanced distributive mixing
Strong distributive mixing capability
Flow splitting and recombination mechanism
Optimized for fiber-reinforced materials
Configurable forward and reverse teeth
TME mixing screw elements are composed of intermeshing toothed discs, designed to split and recombine melt flow repeatedly.
They incorporate forward and reverse teeth arranged in matched pairs, ensuring proper intermeshing of the twin screws and avoiding mechanical interference during assembly.
Unlike conveying screw elements, TME provides no net conveying capability, focusing entirely on distributive mixing.
Creates multiple flow paths for efficient material redistribution.
Ensures uniform dispersion of fibers and additives.
Ensures controlled flow splitting through coordinated forward–reverse interaction.
Allows tuning of mixing intensity.
Geometric flow division rather than shear-based mixing
