Main Feed Barrel | Twin Screw Extruder Feeding Section
Main feeding barrel ensuring stable material intake and initial conveying.
The main feed barrel serves as the primary material entry point, operating under starved feeding conditions to establish stable and continuous material intake.
Its large-volume inlet geometry is optimized based on bulk density and material flow characteristics, ensuring efficient feeding of pellets, powders and additives without bridging or accumulation.
Integrated cooling channels prevent premature softening or sticking of materials at the feeding interface, maintaining a dry and free-flowing intake environment. Wear-resistant bimetallic liners ensure durability under high-throughput abrasive conditions, forming the foundation for stable downstream melting and conveying.
